Venice at night

After dinner, we strolled back to our hotel, and I snapped some photos.

I have a three-year-old point-n-shoot, a Canon S-80. It continues to amaze me with its ability to capture challenging scenes.
The street musician above and the next three photos were shot from the Ponte Dell’Accademia (Academy Bridge) over the Canal Grande. Each is a 1 second exposure with the camera resting on the bridge’s handrail.
That’s Saint Mary’s Cathedral to you and me. Here are a couple more from unknown spots in the city. No tripod, so please excuse the blurriness.
